Jeremia 48:19

SVSta aan den weg, en zie toe, gij inwoneres van Aroer! Vraag den vluchtenden [man] en de ontkomene [vrouw]; zeg: Wat is er geschied?

’el-dereḵə ‘iməḏî wəṣapî ywōšeḇeṯ ‘ărwō‘ēr ša’ălî-nās wəniməlāṭâ ’imərî mah-nnihəyāṯâ:


ACיט אל דרך עמדי וצפי יושבת ערוער שאלי נס ונמלטה אמרי מה נהיתה
ASVO inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and watch: ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth; say, What hath been done?
BEO daughter of Aroer, take your station by the way, on the watch: questioning him who is in flight, and her who has got away safe, say, What has been done?
